In this project, I attempt to replace the power supply in a Ubiquiti UniFi US-16-150W switch. The repair itself went smoothly, the switch powered up and was successfully adopted — but a lack of mechanical fixing led to an unexpected failure. This article walks through the process, what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons learned.
